Ratchet and Clank

This is by far one of my favorite video game series.

This series involves two characters who become good friends named Ratchet and Clank. 

Ratchet is an orange cat-like character called a lombax.  The lombaxes were once a powerful species of engineers and fighters that helped protect the galaxy.  Until they were nearly wiped out completely by a species known as the Kragmites. Ratchet was only a child when his species went extinct including his parents.  His favorite weapon to use is his trusty omniwrench, a large nearly indestructible wrench that Ratchet usually uses to fix mechanisms.

Clank was an anomaly that was built in a manufacturing plant for warbots.  These warbots were built in the tens thousands to help take over planets.  They were typically very large but not very smart, Clank on the other hand is really small but incredibly smart.  He is able to shrink weapons and gadgets to store them for Ratchet to use later.  He is also able to change so that he can become a helipack, a jetpack, or a scuba pack.

Together these work to help protect the galaxy from those who threaten it.
