Talladega Nights

One of the movies that I have recently watched at college is the movie called “Talladega N  This movie stars Will Ferrell and if you have seen any of the movies that he stars in, you know what kind of a movie this is.  This is a very funny, goofy, and immature movie about how a kid growing up, has a dad that leaves him and his mother to be a famous race car driver.  When he is growing up, his dad comes to see him at school for career day and tells him that if he doesn’t finish first in a race, then he is last.  This motivates the boy to do absolutely anything to win every single race that he enters.  He makes a friend during school and his friend ends up helping him win every race.  I think this is a really good movie because behind all of the goofiness in the movie, it shows you that winning shouldn’t be your highest priority.  What you should focus on is having friends and family that supports you in everything that you do and if you win, that is a bonus.  It also teaches you to win for yourself, not for someone else.
