Well, finals are around the corner. Traditionally, these last weeks
and days are known as stressful and hectic. I think, however, that much
of the stress is artificially created. Now, of course, this is not
necessarily true for everyone. There are many students who do have
significant amounts of studying because their finals are difficult, or
maybe a lot of homework that needs to get done on the last week of
class.
I think that many of us could have a much
reduced amount of stress if we didn't procrastinate so much though. It's
true for myself, and no doubt true for many others. I have a bad habit
of putting off stuff until the absolute last second. So during the last
weeks of the semester I often have a disproportionate amount of work
that needs done. I've started working ahead on many things, because I
realized it'll make my life a lot easier, even if it means I have to
work more often. It reduces my stress, and makes sure I have plenty of
time to get things done.
