Uncharted part 3

At the height of the console wars, Video game company NaughtyDog announced Uncharted 3. It was regrettably short-lived after it luckily made amazing sales. Many who played it could tell you its story was brand new to the series. Halfway through it the game took a drastic turn by showing the origins of Nathan Drake. The secret battle the he had been entangled with surrounding his Ancestor’s, Sir Francis Drake, ring, and the grand treasure beyond mortal wealth. It was the story where, even though he is still a bit childish, Nathan Drake had grew as a person by turning his back away from legendary treasures and legends, including the grand thrill of adventure. The game ended up winning the game of the year award which helped the sales of the Playstation 3 and the games for a moment. It is my opinion that it was all because of Microsoft wanting Xbox to be the top console that they partnered with mountain dew and popularized mass marketing everywhere that drove down interest in gamers who cared more about hype and fun commercials that gave up on Playstation and went to Xbox because they had the “best” game selection, but was rather just a larger selection. Ever since then, Playstation and Xbox have been at a kind of war against each other ever since.
