One of my favorite Matt Damon movies is “The Martian.” The movie starts out with
a lot of goofing around between the astronauts that are on Mars. When the
weather gets tough the astronauts are forced to leave Mars. The winds got so
tough and Matt Damon's character gets hit with a satellite dish. Because he
gets hit with a satellite Matt Damon's character is pronounced dead and the
other astronauts leave mars without him. Before they left Mars, the captain of
the team went to go search for him but was unable to find him. The next day on
earth, the director of NASA told the media that he is dead. What you soon learn
about Matt Damon's character is that he is alive. He very quickly gets to work
and try to find out how much food that he has to live on. You also find out
that he is a botanist and will try to grow his own food to survive for the next
four years. This movie is such a great movie because it shows you to never give
up hope. There is always a way to get through struggles. This movie shows you that adversity is so
important because you need to just keep on keeping on when you were going
through your struggles.
