Xenoblade Chronicles Part 1

Xenoblade Chronicles is without a doubt my favorite game of all time. In this day and age, it's really the only game I consider to be nearly flawless(nothing is flawless, but this is the closest I have seen to it.) Here are some screenshots from the game.

World- These pictures don't really give proper credit to the magnitude of this game world. It is absurdly huge, and will take over a hundred hours to explore all of it. Also, Xenoblade rewards the player for exploring in the form of experience points. So even though it is optional, going out of your way to explore will benefit you as player through gained experience and finding optional side quests. There is also secret spots that can be found that  usually give a spectacular view  and give huge rewards.

Story- I have never been more invested in to a video game's story than I was with Xenoblade. Most of the time I don't really pay attention to the story, in video games, play for the gameplay (if you want a good story read a book) but with this game, the story is so intriguing and actually affects the gameplay. The story elements enhance the gameplay, how many games can you say that about. Since describing the story would be very long and would rob you of getting to experience it yourself, I'll

give you a brief synopsis. There are two titans, Bionis and Mechonis. Their remains are now the world which the game takes place. The first third of the story is spent fighting the Mechonis forces, called Mechon after they kill a friend. The next third of the game is trying to climb the mechonis and find answers. After the second third, a lot of stuff goes down, and there is a huge twist that would be a shame to find out about from me. The final third is spent trying to make things right. The story has so many beautiful and tragic scenes.
