When Life Departs

When Life Departs is a film that we watched before break that was about children giving there thoughts on death and what came after(the afterlife). Children seemed so full of positive talk about this matter, because only a couple answered with negative comments. I wonder if this is possibly due to the fact that so many things anymore show death as something that is not a big deal, movies, video games, and some cartoons show people dieing and then minutes later being brought back to life or back from the brink of death. Or it might just be that the children are not yet acquainted with the meaning of losing someone close to you. However, these children take a look at death and turn into something that they are not afraid of even though they should be, and it is kind of refreshing to see such optimist. For people to take a look at death and think of it in a positive way that is reassuring to them is awesome to see. Because even at such a young age they see that death isn't just the end of something, but another beginning.
