Finding Passion in Chef

Chef is about Carl, a L.A Chef who recently has come to face critics over the continued use over an old menu that cannot be changed due to the owner's disposition on making money. So, in response, he decides that he must quit his job and follow whatever dream he has left within a business that he has begun to lose interest in. Carl is losing quite a bit in life, his wife is divorcing him, and he is trying his best to connect with his son while trying to maintain some sort of dignity within his work space. As the story continues, we see the main character begin to find what he loves within a cubano food truck. The work is not sophisticated or even respected at first, but Carl finds love within his work even though he is not in a fancy job like he was before. There are so many of us who are looking for fame at the end of the rope, but the work you do is something you have to love. If Carl did not like being a chef, then he would have left the business after he flopped with critics. Carl's disposition should be taken where ever we go. As long as we are passionate about something, then it does not matter where we end up.
