The Captain America: Winter Soldier is one
of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that have been released. The good
thing about the Winter Soldier is that it is actually not mostly just a
superhero movie it is also a spy thriller. Captain America may be a superhero
and Marvel is about superheroes but he entire movie feels like a spy movie.
Captain America follows the aftermath of
the Avengers and how Cap is trying to be a part of SHIELD. But it´s hard for
him because his beliefs are not the same as SHIELD has, especially Nick Fury.
Since Captain America lived in the 1900s, around the WWII he has a different
worldview than the rest. Which is good because sometimes we need to think back
to how things were a lot simpler back then.
Captain America: Winter Soldier is a well-directed,
action packed movie that has a great story and a shocking twist that HYDRA has
been growing inside of SHIELD and has largely taken over. Even his best friend,
Bucky, from before Cap was frozen is alive and working for HYDRA.
A big theme that surrounds the movie is loyalty.
Even if Bucky was now brainwashed and working for HYDRA and trying to kill Cap,
he still refuses to fight him and tries to remind him of who he is, mostly
because he knows Bucky is still in there and he hopes he can get him back.
