The famous
series by AMC, The Walking Dead, just
aired their newest season and it was as big as they made it out to be. There are so many people that watch this show
and stay loyal to it, no matter what happens.
There are times that some of us want to leave the show behind because
they kill off characters and play with our minds. I remember the worst episode for me was when
Glen was thought to have been attacked and killed by the zombies in season 6,
but then four episodes later, the audience was able to sigh in relief that he
survived the terrifying attack. The show
is very suspenseful and sometimes gruesome, but that is the reason people
watch.
The most
recent episode was the first of the new 7th season, which showed
what happened at the end of season 6. At
the end of season 6, Negan, an enemy of Rick’s group, killed someone with his
bat, but we were left hanging and never found out who it was until this
season. I expected to see who was killed
within the first couple minutes, but the directors took about thirty minutes to
give us the horrible news. Therefore, The Walking Dead is so popular. The suspense is so powerful and urges the
viewers to keep watching, no matter how frustrating it is. I watched with a group of people and we were
all squirming in our seats because we didn’t want our favorite characters to die. The show is fantastic and I love how the
directors are working with the comics to try and make the show as close as
possible to it. With season 7 upon us, I
am excited to see what the directors will do to keep us viewers involved.
If you have
not seen The Walking Dead, I strongly
urge you to give it a shot, even if it isn’t your type of show! Also, make sure to watch the first episode of
season 7 to find out who died.
