Last night a couple of my
friends and I were bored so we decided to watch a movie (film majors,
duh). So, we were looking through movies
to watch and Big Hero 6 popped up and, I had seen it before and loved it, so I
suggested we watch it so we did.
Let me tell you, I forgot
how great of a movie it is! I remembered
that I enjoyed it when I first watched it, but watching it again I just found
myself laughing and enjoying every minute of it. I’m sure most of you who are reading this
have seen it but if not:
Big Hero 6 is about a 14-year-old
boy named Hiro, who is a genius and already graduated high school. He focuses most of his time on illegal bot
fighting in the streets of “San Fransokyo”.
He has an older brother Tadashi who tries to get Hiro to apply to the
college Tadashi goes to, but until Tadashi gets Hiro to check out the school for
himself, is uninterested. Tadashi has been working on this invention called
Baymax, which is like an inflatable health care robot.
To fast forward, Tadashi
is killed in an explosion from a science expo trying to save his professor, and
Hiro is sent into a depression. One day
Hiro discovers Baymax stored away in his late brother’s room, and basically
tries to use Baymax to go after who, he finds out, intentionally starts the
fire.
I won’t go on in case
some of you haven’t seen it, but it is a great movie. It’s just one of those films that is fun to
watch. It has a great story, and you get
invested in the characters which is the best part.
