Who is Wheels?
First thing you’ll notice about me is that is that I must use a wheelchair to get around campus. That’s because I have a handicap named Cerebral Palsy. It is defined by Google as a condition marked by impaired muscle coordination (spastic paralysis) and/or other disabilities, typically caused by damage to the brain before or at birth. So, basically my legs shake uncontrollably randomly, when I use too much energy, and when I get nervous. You’ll have to ask me about the events leading up to and after my birth. (odd I know but it’s too much to type.) That’s me on the outside. On the inside I’m just a normal Christian teen trying to find my place in God’s plan.
I’m a Freshman. My major is Fusion Media (Broadcasting
Media). The reason I chose this major is because I was on air at my high school’s
radio station. I love the intimacy that radio portrays to its listeners. I also
listen to so much music; from Christian Rap (Lecrae, NF, etc.) to Country (
Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge, etc.). I’m an adrenaline junky. I love
flying down the hills on campus. and I also play wheelchair basketball for the Turnstone Bandits. If you ever need anything email me at osbornj@huntington.edu.
