Chapter 2 of a gospel as a tragedy was really good but one part really stood out to me. That was the beginning of the chapter when the narrator was talking about how she or he found side notes of questions on her teachers copy of the work and she went around describing everyone and like went into detail about each and everyone. I also like how she used this play to tell them that life is a "pitiless storm and that they are as vulnerable to it as Lear himself"(Page 30). I really enjoyed when the author said that youth grows old and beauty fade but in sense that youth and beauty are vulnerable. like I feel like the author is speaking the truth because most youth care about their looks then their grades which leads their heads to be useless. lastly to basically sum all this up Buechner main point is that instead of us facing reality we just hide behind walls and run away from the situation/problem.
