I can’t believe I never noticed the common themes between
stories and seasons. After reading Mythic Cycles, I understand and remember seeing these ideals in the past.
Spring: In the writing Spring is spoken about as being a
time of comedy and birth and rebirth. Something important this taught me was
probably that Isaac means “laughter” in Hebrew (That’s right I can also tell
funny stuff). Please don’t take what’s in the parenthesis as what I really
believe.
Summer: There are many romance movies released during the summer usually with the narrators trying to copy each other’s level of enthusiasm. It’s also spoken of the quests taken by heroes in the summer. A good movie that emphasizes this to me is probably the story Stand By Me.

Autumn/Fall: Listed as being the time of tragedy and with tragedy eventually comes maturity. The tragedy for most people I know in the fall is going back to school (Too easy a target). When you’re confronted with real life, and can no longer ignore the hard truths of life.
Winter: A time of death and irony. Several movies I’ve seen
where the protagonist loses something, they’re usually shown feeling that loss
during the winter.
