Are We Living Without Color?

Pleasantville seems to be the town where everything is perfect on the outside, with no flaws, no problems.  Yet there is no color to those who are going through the motions.  The ones with color are the ones who have found the true meaning of life.  Their true purpose is something that must be realized on their own.  Much like our Christian walk, until we find God, our lives are colorless.  We are born with a sense of identity and purpose, but until we find God and learn what He has in store for us, we have nothing.  It's like when you first walk outside before the sun comes up.  You can see everything, but it's hazy and little to no color is found.  It is only when the sun comes up that you can see clearly and view the world in its full glory.
