Intro to Andrew Esch

Well, hello everyone! My name is Andrew Esch, and I'm kind of a weird guy. I was born in Huntington and haven't lived anywhere outside of the county throughout the entirety of my life. Grew up playing a bunch of "vidya games" as a kid. From that point on, I've begun to enjoy the concept of stories, with game-like stories playing in my head. I wanted to develop video games myself, but then eventually realized that making the code and game itself is really difficult. However, not wanting to give up the desire to create stories, I began trying to write. Writing came rather easy to me, at least when it came to creative writing (I friggin' suck at writing papers...)

I'm also a big sucker for my friends and family and spending time with them. If you are a gamer who enjoys a game for its story, Chrono Trigger is a timeless (heh) classic that was part of my inspiration for creating stories. I occasionally draw when I feel like it, though I do enjoy it. I would enjoy being able to draw certain shots from my fantasy stories to allow readers to envision certain scenes better. I also tend to be a sucker for romance in stories as well, as I am quite the hopeless romantic. In terms of other interests that I have, I'm not too big into sports and tend to not pursue movies unless watching them with friends and or family. I do enjoy animated films such as Castle in the Sky and The Princess and the Goblin.
