Hello everyone! My name is Katie
Murray and I'm a junior majoring in animation. I just transferred here from
Cedarville university (because they didn't have animation) and I hope to get to
know you all a lot more.
Here's a little background info: I grew up in Berrien Springs Michigan and
now my family and I have just recently moved to Cedarville Ohio. Back when I
was a kid I always loved watching cartoons and Disney movies and loved drawing
whenever I got the chance to. As I got older, I found that I could draw for a
living which is why I am here in Huntington; to expand my knowledge on
animating and art itself. Right now, I love drawing cartoons and semi-realistic
people as well as making simple 2d animation on my free time. I also really
enjoy creating my own character designs and experimenting with different art
mediums. I graduated high school as the valedictorian which took a lot of
effort for me but I’m glad I was able to accomplish that goal.
Some random things about me are that I like to collect 4-leaf clovers (I'm
at 200+ clovers right now) and I come from a big family with 9 siblings. Even
though I'm majoring in animation, I really love science, astronomy, and marine
biology.
