Hiya! My name is Rachel Blauert, but y’all can me Smiley
because that is what I go by! I have dual state citizenship. I was born in
Minnesota, raised for thirteen years in a little rinky, dinky town in Nebraska,
and then finally, moved back to the beautiful state of Minnesota this past
June. I played golf in high school and now play on the Huntington Women’s Golf
team. I am very random and at times kind of sweet, but only on days that end in
“y”. I am a Broadcasting major which
definitely shows my extroverted side. I want to be a kid when I grow up, so you
can always expect me to have a smile on my face and a laugh ready to escape
from my mouth.
Now on a serious note, all that is stated above is true, but
with a few additions of reality. I would really love to be one of two things
when I grow up: a Sports Commentator for
ESPN or Golf Channel, or teacher and youth golf coach. I have strong passion
for helping kids and using my voice to tell people what is going on. If you
ever need a shoulder to lean on or someone to make you laugh until you’re
double over with tears dripping from your eyes, I’m the person you can come to
at any time.
