Ten Things I Hate About You
It is a classic movie that I particularly enjoy. This movie
portrays high school life as it really is. The groups and the cliques were
similar to real life. It shows how many people just want to get by and move
past all the high school drama. Others want to be a part of it and then there
are those who are already in the group. It has a meaning of how high school is
just a phase through your life and not all the hype is worth it. It has such a
good plot about a girl who was known as the dark girl and in a place where no
one would go. She was the unpopular one as her younger sister was popular. On top
of all of this their dad is super strict about going out which does not bother
her, but bothers her younger sister. She meets a guy like her but little does
she know that he is under a bet, but he turns out liking her after he takes her
out after all this time. He tries to get around the bet but can’t, in the end
they end up together the unlikeable girl and the daredevil guy as a perfect
match and shows how high school drama can be overcome.
