Let's Plays

As one of the relatively newest art mediums, video games have different ways of gaining exposure. Much like MTV and the music video were perfect for each other, video games and YouTube let's plays are a match made in heaven. For those who don't know, a let's play is when a person records themselves playing a video game and records themselves either through an actual camera or with the use of a capture card.  The idea behind it is like hanging out with a friend and watch them play through a game. Some gamers are also known for their ''freakouts'' during a gameplay. Usually those types of videos tend to get the most views. Honestly, doing let's plays has been something that has always personally appealed to me. Something about the idea of going along a gaming journey sounds super fun. I'm more into sports broadcasting, but doing something like this on the side would make me really happy. With the equipment at my disposal, now would be the time if I ever wanted to do it....
