Kevin Durant/OKC part 3

Kevin Durant's 1st season with the franchise was a forgettable one. Although the Sonics were in there 41st season as a team, attendance was low and except for a couple of seasons, the team had never really had success. With a record of 20-62 , the Supersonics owner decided it was time to make the big move. With a couple of cities to chose from, one stood out. Oklahoma City, a city that had no other professional team, but had been begging for a franchise for years. Moving to a city and trying to change their identity, the team decided to change its name as well. Becoming the Oklahoma City Thunder and switching to new colors of blue, orange, and yellow. In their first year as the Thunder not much had changed.
