Kevin Durant part 3.5-The move continued

The first year in Oklahoma City, the Thunder were 23-59. They improved three games from their last season in Seattle. With another bad record meant another high draft pick. In 2009 the team drafted UCLA guard Russell Westbrook. He was regarded as one of the top players and was widely considered as the number one pick. Westbrook, who would form into a All-Star combination with Durant in the coming years. The were perfect together, a one two punch that was unstoppable at times. At the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend, Kevin Durant was invited to compete in the rookie challenge. Durant set a rookie challenge record by scoring 46 points. By the end of the year, Durant had his scoring average rise by five points from the prior season to 25 points per game Kevin was considered a strong candidate for the Most Improved Player Award, for having a remarkable season in which he finished third in the voting.Image result for kevin durant
