Destiny: The Rise of Iron

The newest addition to Destiny came out this past September in the Rise of Iron update. After coming back to the game after a few month hiatus due to gameplay issues and frustrations, Rise of Iron has once again captured the attention of the audience. The newest update added a new storyline, raid, strikes, crucible maps, and weapons, all some of the best the game has ever seen. They increase in light level to 400 compare to the 340 cut off in the Taken King has introduced a whole new level of grinding that can be equal parts frustrating and fun. The newest storyline has proved to be exciting and has provided the gaming world with amazing graphics and artwork, which took months of designing and was well worth the effort. Rise of Iron has proven to be my favorite addition to the Destiny collection and also has, and is, returning some of the best parts of Destiny back into the game. With the release of the Taken King, it made many Year 1 fan favorites like the Gjallahorn and Icebreaker obsolete as they could only raise to light 160, as compared to new exotics at 320-340. With Year 3 underway, they have already returned the Gjallahorn, as well as plan on the rerelease of the Icebreaker in December and other new exotics that have proven to enhance gameplay and be fun to use, as well as bringing some exotics from Year 2 into the mix.
