Geri's Game

Geri's game by Pixar was probably one of my most favorite short films. When we watched it in class everyone loved it, and everyone was laughing their butts off. This film hits home for me because it reminds me of my grandpa, and how he loves to play chess with anyone and everyone. Including himself, much like how Geri played. He would play chess by himself sometimes, at least until someone walked by, then he would sucker them into playing with him. The comedy is contagious, even in "Telling the Truth" we can see how comedy is contagious even in the gospel. On the first page of "The Gospel as Comedy" it talks about how a woman starts laughing, then her husbands starts, and then the angel starts laughing too! Showing that comedic laughter is as contagious as a comedic action, like that was shown in Geri's game.
