Game Grumps may not have the most subscribers, but their extremely loyal cult following more than makes up for that. The channel was originally started in 2012 by Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson and Jon "JonTron" Jafari. Despite their main channels' differences, Arin being an animator/voice actor and Jon doing humor-laden reviews of games and B-list movies & TV shows, they had a joint love for video games and decided to start a let's play channel. Mid-2013, Jon left the channel to focus on his own channel, and a mutual friend of theirs, Dan Avidan (aka Danny Sexbang of comedy band Ninja Sex Party) joined to play games alongside Arin.
Game Grumps' gameplay style is less like a walkthrough and more like sitting by two of your friends and watching them play video games. It's filled with banter, hilarity, vulgarity, and sometimes frustration at the game that leads to some pretty ridiculous raging. If you don't mind the aforementioned vulgarity, I would recommend Game Grumps to anyone.
