Finding Dory - A Pixar Sequel

I recently watched the movie Finding Dory that continues on with the former beloved family film, Finding Nemo.  This film is one of my most desired movies to ever watch because of the anticipation that was built up from its trailers a few years back.  I remember saying...2016....that's never going to get here soon enough.  Well, we are at that time and almost through another great year in the film industry!  Finding Dory did not disappoint in its climatic build up from its previous film.  I thought that the plot development and story line was going to be similar to the first one with the same characters, but I was completely thrown for a loop.  If you ever have watched the first one then you know what I mean when I thought that Dory would be lost due to her short-term memory loss.  That was not the plot at all, instead it consisted of Dory's trek to find her parents that she vaguely remembered.  Yet with the help of her other family in Marlin and Nemo, she was able to find her way to her lost parents.  She even went as to not only piece her memories together and find them, but also became the hero and saved everyone.  This film was a great family film that kept you wondering if Dory could ever find her way "home."  I believe that the moral or concept of this film was to show us that even if no one believes that we can defeat our obstacles, we should not let that hinder us and "just keep swimming."
