Recently I saw this picture circulating around Facebook with numerous sad responses and sad reactions. Unfortunately, (not for them) the rumor was untrue like the previous one spread in 2013. Why is it unfortunately not cancelled? Long story short, Spongebob has been offensively bad for years now. Nothing after the first three seasons was the same, and after season 5 they got progressively worse. I realize the older episodes aren't exactly classic television, but they certainly had more to them than Squidward being tortured or Patrick being an idiot for thirty minutes. Whats worse is a lot of these new episodes are just recycled ideas of the first three seasons. They even recycled the same plot in the same tow seasons in season 7! Plankton stole his Grandmas clothes in one episode and in another he stole Sandy's fur. Both times it was used as a disguise to get the Krabby Patty formula, and both times everyone was too dumb to do anything about. This of course is a rehash of the season 2 episode Imitation Krabs where plankton builds a robot suit to pretend to be Mr. Krabs so he can steal the formula. Sound familiar? This is just one example but there are countless others. The point is, Spongebob is now awful, unfunny show that is only on TV so Nickelodeon can make more cash. It's not even a fraction of what it once was. #EuthanizeSpongebob
