Can't Complain if you Don't Vote

Yes, it is that time of year again.  The time of year when politics is all we can think about because that is what everyone is talking about.  The time of year when the campaign ads get so annoying that we want to destroy our TV’s.  This means that it the time that we get to choose our next President of the United States of America.  And sooner or later, we will be complaining about what the President is doing and what he or she isn’t doing.  Voting is a very important thing that a lot of us don’t do.  When someone is complaining about what the current President is doing or isn’t doing, I will ask them if they voted in the last election if they had the opportunity to.  If they say yes, then they have the right to complain because they did their duty and voted.  If they didn’t vote and they had the opportunity to vote in the last election, I will be a little upset because they didn’t cast their opinion so they shouldn’t complain.  They left the decision to their peers and family members to make the decision on who would be the next President.   Everyone needs to vote during election time because it is our right as Americans.
