I don’t think I blogged on the music videos we watched
this past Thursday so here it goes…
I enjoyed the videos way more than the ones we watched
Tuesday. They weren’t the best things
ever, but you could see the creativity within them. And when I say that, I’m saying like the different
kind of creativity that you would otherwise think of.
The OK Go Rube Goldberg one I had actually seen
before, and I thought it was insanely cool.
I can’t imagine the work that had to be put into it, and that was just
for the music video. It was done in one
shot, probably shot a million times, but nothing was cut together which is cool
and extremely difficult to pull off.
The first OK Go one though, the one that was like them
dancing all weirdly was entertaining.
Just a camera on a tripod, or who knows, the camera could’ve been just
sitting on a table. I think the intentional
simplicity of it was what made it so special.
So like I said, entertaining but to me not the best things ever. You could
definitely see the work put in, and the different creativity that made a lot of
people gravitate toward their work.
