The
short films we watched in class today all espoused one simple
principle. The creators did what they could to make a great short film
without overtaxing their resources and abilities. This is a useful thing
to remember not only in the animation industry, but also in life as a
whole. We look up to the greats in each field. However, what a huge film
company can produce, or a well established game developer can put out,
is far from what an indie producer can put together in his own time
while working a full time job. That doesn’t mean that the indie producer
can’t make something worth watching or playing though.
